Our Team

We believe in the power of connecting people with purpose.

"Despite the rewards of challenging work and a good income, so many young people feel there's something missing in their careers. The problem is not the job. It's the lack of connection to their larger value in society. We help people find their place of value, leveraging the talents and resources of their position to help others."

- Rhoden Monrose, CEO and Founder, CariClub

Rhoden Monrose

Rhoden Monrose

CEO & Founder

After emigrating from Saint Lucia at the age of twelve, Rhoden Monrose grew up in Harlem, NY. The child of a single mother, he worked hard, won full scholarships to private schools and got a job as a derivatives trader at Citigroup. The work was challenging, exciting and financially rewarding, but there was something missing. He tried to fill the void by working (and playing) harder, but those paths led to dead ends. In 2011, a friend connected him with a group that organized charity events. There, he found a circle of like-minded people who found purpose in using their time, talent and money to make an impact.

In 2013, he left Citigroup to found CariClub, a digital community designed to connect young professionals to nonprofit associate boards. Citigroup became Rhoden's first client. CariClub now works with a large network of nonprofits, companies and young professionals, building a pipeline for the future leaders of the nonprofit world...and having a lot of fun doing it.
